Biography

Jim Glover retired from the United States Army as a Major of Field Artillery in 2014 following 24 years of service on active duty. Jim's strong belief in service to his community and the individual rights and protections established in the American Constitution led him to the decision to begin a career as an attorney and continue fighting to protect those in need. Jim is an experienced former criminal prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office and Baldwin County District Attorney's Office in the state of Alabama.

Jim is an aggressive and talented criminal defense attorney with extensive experience handling hundreds of criminal cases at the trial level in federal, state and local courts throughout Arizona. Jim has a reputation as a tough and tireless advocate who serves his clients well by acting as a persuasive advocate before judges and juries, negotiating resolutions to cases in appropriate situations and analyzing the facts for success in cases, including being able to identify and take advantage of legal issues that can lead to positive outcomes such as suppression of evidence or dismissal of charges. In fact, Jim has never lost a motion to suppress argument, in many criminal cases.

In addition to a J.D., Glover's education includes a M.A. in Business Management from Webster University and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts. Jim also participated in the Army ROTC program, served in the Student Senate and played NCAA college football. Jim is a father of three sons and is a fixture on the Phoenix area ballfields, coaching football.
